Woman sentenced to 10 years in prison for killing her son in order to gain employment in Saudi Arabia
Rama, their father, was providing shelter for the two. After her mother had left, Susan found out about her brother’s passing. She said she rushed to tell the local elder that Alvin’s body had been found in a pit near Borawa, and he encouraged her to go to the Kiembeni Police Station.
Mumba was then taken into custody, the incident was investigated, and she has been awaiting trial ever since.
Her sentence was backdated to 2022 since she spent a year in custody. She will be incarcerated for an additional nine years after this ruling, and she has fourteen days to declare that she wants to appeal it.
