A dispute regarding a response provided by a Prempeh College representative during the semifinal round led to the filing of a lawsuit. The quiz master disagreed, yet the school insisted that the response was correct.

Disgruntled, Prempeh College sent a petition to Primetime Limited, the NSMQ organizers. The corporation, however, denied the appeal, stating that they were pleased with the justifications offered by the quiz mistress and the NSMQ consultant for their choice to deny Prempeh College points on the disputed question.

Following the dismissal of its petition, Prempeh College stated in a statement that they will investigate all avenues for obtaining justice, as stated by PB Damoah, the school’s NSMQ coordinator.
