On October 21, 1942, Judith Susan Sheindlin Blum, better known as Judge Judy, was born. Blum made her television debut on a piece for “60 Minutes” on CBS7, where she quickly acquired notoriety for her reputation as a severe, “no-nonsense” judge.

She then progressed to become well-known in the entertainment sector. The reality-based “Judge Judy” courtroom series soon gave Judge Judy a role.
Judge Judy’s position among the top reality television personalities was cemented by the show, which was a huge success and ran for 25 seasons.
Blum has appeared on numerous talk shows throughout her career, including “Entertainment Tonight,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and “Larry King Live,” among others.
