Joe Ghartey, Kwadwo Poku, and Kwabena Agyepong were other candidates who ran in the elections. Joe Ghartey received 4 votes, Kwadwo Poku received 3, and Kwabena Agyepong received 5. Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku did not receive a single vote.
After this round of voting, there were only five candidates left in the running to represent the party as president.
Prior to the 2024 general elections, the NPP will choose its actual candidate in the final round, which is scheduled for November of this year.
