Nonetheless, Mr. Kwettey has backed calls for Mr. Acheampong to be questioned.
In order to warn others, he also urged that the questioning be made public.
He argues that this is because of how the remark was made and his social standing.

He added, “Given that he is a minister and a member of parliament and he makes these utterances, it cannot be taken lightly and given the precedent or antecedent, and that is why I endorse the argument that the police ought to ask him for questioning.”
