Black Stars attacker Mohammed Kudus, back to goal and positioned for a cross sent in from the left side of the field, took an outrageous risk that paid off with a goal that even his West Ham manager, David Moyes, was cheering for.

English international Jarrod Bowen scored a goal in the 26th minute to give the Hammers a 2-1 lead at the end of the first half.

But Konstantinos Mavropanos’ own goal in the 55th minute brought the Bees level after the break.

Nathan Collins’ goal in the 69th minute sealed the victory for Thomas Frank’s team, who were on a roll.
