The bride, Zara, is a 19-year-old graduate of Brighton University, UK where she studied Architecture.

Her father is the fourth child of the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero.

Whiles the traditional ceremony has been conducted, the Islamic wedding is set to take place on Friday, 20th August 2021, at the Bichi Emir palace in Kano state.

The President who recently returned from medical checks in the UK is expected to be in attendance.
