The Ghana Cocoa Board stresses that the management has not approved the purchase of iPad keyboards for its Board of Directors and asks the public to be aware of this clarification.
DISCLAIMER ABOUT THE BUYING OF IPAD KEYBOARDS FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The message that originated from the Board’s Information Systems Department and was extensively circulated has been noted by the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD). The suggestion in the aforementioned memo asks management to get approval for the purchase of iPad keyboards for the board of directors’ members.
The adoption of the “CONVENE” software by the board, which aims to decrease the use of paper and stationary during board meetings while simultaneously increasing productivity and collaboration among members, served as the foundation for the request to buy iPad keyboards.
We want to make it clear that no procurement transactions have occurred because management has not approved the purchase of the keyboards.
