Legendary Ghanaian actor Kofi Adjorlolo has raised concerns about Ghanaian TV stations airing Nigerian movies without permission on local channels.

The seasoned actor, well-known for his remarkable career in Ghanaian cinema, denounced the practice, believing it to be harmful to the rights of Nigerian filmmakers as well as the Ghanaian film industry.

Adjorlolo criticized Ghanaian TV stations for airing Nigerian films without restriction, emphasizing the harm it causes to Ghanaian performers and the sector as a whole.

He expressed his dismay at the tendency, pointing out that because of how easily their films are disseminated in Ghana, Nigerian filmmakers tend to overlook Ghanaian stars.

Adjorlolo, who is now filming in Nigeria, revealed that a large number of Nigerian producers are dissatisfied with Ghanaian TV stations and streaming services for illegally uploading Nigerian films.
