At the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Accra, Dr. Twerefour pursued postgraduate certificate programs in Health Administration and Management (HAM), Monitoring, and Evaluation. Dr. Twerefour is an MPH-educated public health professional.
He belongs to the Accra-based Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons as well as the Ghana Medical Association.
In the Asian Journal of Research in Infectious Diseases and the Lancet Medical Journal, Dr. Twerefour co-authored two medical publications.
A letter from the Secretary to the President stating that his appointment is subject to approval by the Public Services Commission and the Governing Board of the Agency.
He attended the Mfantsipim School and is a proud alumnus.
