Additionally, protesters were performing songs and reading passages from the Haggadah, the Jewish text read aloud during Seder. Some of the songs were being led by a student at NYU who identified as Jewish.

Since Hamas’ terror strike on Israel on October 7, tensions have been high at numerous institutions. But after Columbia University administrators testified before Congress last week regarding antisemitism on campus and the rise in pro-Palestinian protests on and around campus, the situation there has gotten worse in recent days.
