The beloved gospel performer Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, often known as KODA, passed away on Sunday, much to the sadness of the Ghanaian music community.
He was forty-five. The tragic news has been confirmed by a close source close to the musician, who states that KODA passed away from a disease he had fought valiantly for.
KODA, a gospel music group based in Takoradi, Western Region, Ghana, was acclaimed as one of the leading voices in Ghanaian modern gospel music.
Both fans and fellow musicians respected and revered him for his dedication to using music production to spread the gospel and mold the sound of others.
KODA made numerous and significant musical contributions during the course of his lengthy career.
Prominent musicians include the late Danny Nettey, Ps. Joe Beechem, Nii Okai, Halal Afrika, Eugene Zuta, and many more who had their music produced by him.
