“After the water levels dropped, victims were assisted in returning to their towns. The initial step was to offer relief supplies. Over 5,000 residences were impacted for the 88,000 affected individuals. In order to assist in their relocation, we must proceed with gathering their personal information; this is not merely a brick-and-mortar problem.
In order to guarantee their resettlement, we will verify the information we gather concerning schools and the restoration of the people’s way of life.
In order to validate some of the data, we are currently collaborating with the various assemblies and conventional authorities with whom we will be working. We have already removed the sod from 100 homes, and we plan to continue doing so in all the other districts and villages that were impacted by the flooding. To achieve this, we will require cooperation from all state authorities.
