Once upon a time, there lived a gentleman, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who was a Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana until his nomination as the vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2008.
According to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, if you borrow unsustainably;
1. Interest rates will come down.
2. inflation will come down.
3. Exchange rate will be stable.
4. Economy will grow.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia at UCC.
Demons and Principalities are really at work! If not, where from this analogy because this cannot be found in even basic economics text books.
I am sad for this nation, the vice president aspiring to be the president of this nation can make this analogy then we are doomed as a nation.
Mr vice president let me refresh your mind since the shadows of the Demons and principalities from your past are hunting you and the only way to survive is by making confused and inconsistent statements.
On the 2 May 2012 you tweeted,”if single digit inflation is meaningless for cost of living, interest rates, exchange rates, and jobs, what is it for?”To put it another way, if single digit inflation does not help with respect to the prices of the things you buy, the cost of borrowing money for your business, the value of the Cedis to the dollar, or help the youth to get jobs, then what is the point?
This was what you said Mr vice president. Today you cannot even remember because you no more go to mallam Atta market to buy your stuff, you get everthing for free so you cannot even “think far”.
I am worried because it seems you have no clue of the current happenings to the economy of this country so you now don’t even want to talk about the Dollar or the economy again. Meanwhile you are the head of this country’s Economic management team
All you do is to introduce what previously you were naming as nuisance taxes with even new taxes such as; taxes on momo, communication taxes, talk tax, bank allowance taxes, fuel taxes, import and export taxes, increase in VAT, COVID-19 tax, “borla” tax, and I am now hearing lawyers tax, what a wow?
I will not be surprised if Ghanaians wake up one morning and you have introduced taxes on the air we breath. The plight of Ghanaians is of no worry to your administration, yet you want to become a president with lying without the fear of God.
The Ghanaians you begged and lied to from 2012 to 2016 are not the same Ghanaians you can lie to in 2024 because they now know who really deserves the tag
INCOMPETENCE
Ghana Let wake up for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and NANA Addo Dankwa the president have nothing good for this country
The grammer is too much we need development not big grammar.
If we mistakenly vote for them again we will lose the entire future for our generation.
Our *balls( testecles)* are already on fire*and with the current economic hardship and pressure in the country we can feel it roasting.
I love my country and I will stand for the truth at all times.
Indeed the demons and principalities are chasing you that is why you sound more confusing, Mr vice president.
I remain a citizen not spectator.
