Former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has urged Ghanaians to be appreciative of having a vice president like Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Dr. Mustapha Hamid, CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), declared in a statement supporting Dr. Bawumia that there is no doubt that he will act as the flagbearer.
During an interview with Neat FM in Accra, Obiri Boahen compared the vice president’s performance to that of current football legends, confidently predicting that Bawumia, a hopeful for the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer position, would secure Ghana’s presidency in 2024.
There is no question that Dr. Bawumia will serve as the flagbearer, National Petroleum Authority (NPA) CEO Dr. Mustapha Hamid stated in a statement expressing his support for him.
