According to the organizers, the HoodTalk Music Festival, which aims to raise a provisional $14 million for the construction of five pediatric clinics, has the support of both President Akufo-Addo and Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
By utilizing the power of music and the arts through community participation, HoodTalk Music Festival also seeks to empower and encourage African youth while uniting voices for their betterment.
The HoodTalk Music Festival, according to its organizers, is a national event that has the support of UNESCO, the Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs Ministry, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and the DJs Union of Ghana (DJUGA).
