He added that voice revenue fell from 33.1 percent to 26.8 percent of overall service revenue, although voice revenue saw a 9.0% growth to GH¢3.6 billion, driven by customer value management activities that offer bundles and packages that satisfy the different needs of its consumers.
Speaking about the recent internet outages that reduced its clients’ ability to use the internet to the fullest, he stated that while the outages have been fixed to allow clients to use the internet to the fullest extent possible, work is still being done to repair the damaged sea cables to increase their resilience.
He went on to say that while the company has provided services for its clients by using alternate routes between Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal, investing in diversity and collaborating with policyholders and regulators would be the best ways to stop similar internet disruptions from happening in the future.
