The New Patriotic Party’s vice presidential candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, has attested to the integrity of the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to Dr. Opoku Prempeh, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is an esteemed public worker who is imperturbable.
During a brief discussion with renowned journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni, during which he gave him a copy of his latest book, NAPO stated that Dr. Bawumia has not engaged in any wrongdoing while in public office and continues to be a model of integrity.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh declared, “The flagbearer I serve is not corrupt; he has never been corrupt and he never will be.”
In addition, NAPO made hints about upcoming publications since he thinks it’s important to share his experiences as a minister of education and energy.
He committed to reading Manasseh’s book, giving it a critical evaluation, and communicating his thoughts to Manasseh.
“Since I enjoy reading, I’ll read the entire book and let you know what I think. In addition, he said, “I’m writing a few books to share my experiences as the minister of energy and education.”

The book, titled “The President We Never Had,” provides background information on significant occasions of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration.
The book contains several astounding revelations, like the fact that Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the Asantehene, informed President Akufo-Addo about the selection of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as Bawumia’s running mate.
Manasseh claims that President Akufo-Addo was taken aback by the decision and only found out about it through Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, before it was formally announced to him.
According to the book, the President was taken aback when the Asantehene revealed his choice to Akufo-Addo three weeks prior to Dr. Bawumia formally informing him of it.
