In Ghanaian society, the practice of pastors making predictions regarding presidential elections has grown more prevalent and frequently sparks disagreement and controversy.
Pastor Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, a well-known evangelist from Worldwide Miracle Outreach and a Ghanaian pastor, has voiced his extreme dislike of pastors who predict presidential elections.
Dr. Tetteh expressed his displeasure with this conduct and stressed the need for pastors to abstain from political forecasting.
Dr. Tetteh made it apparent in the interview that he had no desire to become president by saying, “I feel bad for the president. A headache, that is. Never, never!”
“I vehemently oppose pastors who will declare who will be the next president from their pulpit.”
He stated that he is vehemently against preachers using their platforms to predict the next President.
