In a “If More, Let’s Divide” podcast episode, he voiced his unvarnished criticism of the notion of locking people up because of their sexual orientation.

“I disagree. I think it’s a reach for someone to be in jail or prison for three years just for being who they are,” he said. It seems crazy to me. LGBT rights are just human rights. It is absurd to imprison someone for three to five years based just on their sexual preference.”

Moreover, Pappy Kojo singled out well-known Bill supporter Sam George in his suggestion that personal prejudices may be behind the bill’s popularity. “I also believe it’s just personal to Sam George,” he said. You really can do whatever you want when you are in a position of authority. Thus, I believe that’s what he’s up to.”
