Because it is Ramadan, and devout Muslims like Akuapem Poloo are expected to refrain from such violent acts in order to keep the month holy, the Muslim community was taken aback by Akuapem Poloo.
The Ghanaian actress claims that she has received calls from her Muslim brothers as well, and after giving it some thought, she is pleading with them for forgiveness. “I would like to say a very big sorry to my fans here,” she stated.
“I have also had calls about the video that is out, and it’s good because it’s Ramadan time,” Akuapem Poloo said, “but I just couldn’t control myself out of anger.”
I apologize; none of us are flawless. I’m getting calls from my Muslims. Since I only switched a year and a half ago, I’m constantly learning.
