The top 10 of the 30 Nigerian companies tracked by Nairametrics in the COMARTs industries of manufacturing, agricultural, real estate, oil and gas, and technology are included in this article. The data does not include commercial banks.

As of March 31, 2023, the cash holdings of Nigerian firms varied significantly, with some reporting significant gains over the prior year and others suffering declines.

The cash balances of enterprises include cash generated from activities or cash received from customers after deducting the amounts paid to suppliers.

Last but not least, it includes the proceeds from investment sales after deducting the proceeds from new investment purchases. The revenues from bank loans after paying debt servicing are also included. The cash in the bank at the start of the year is increased by this as well.
