Sarkodie, the most celebrated rapper in Africa, has surpassed 100 million streams on Boomplay, the continent’s biggest music streaming and download service.
Boomplay’s Golden Club is made up of musicians whose albums have received more than 100 million streams on the site. Boomplay tweeted the information on Sarkodie’s forthcoming album.

Due to his recent achievement, Sarkodie has joined the Golden Club, joining Black Sheriff as the second Ghanaian. Following the November 11, 2022 release of his seventh studio album, Jamz, the Adonai hitmaker is getting a lot of exposure. The 10-track CD includes Black Sheriff among other well-known musicians.
Sarkodie visited Boomplay’s office earlier on Thursday as part of his pre-release promotions for the “Jamz” album. The multiple award-winning rapper tweeted to his followers from the office that he was getting close to the record stream.
