Ghanaians have criticised Thomas Partey for not giving his best when playing for the Black Stars after seeing a picture of the Arsenal midfielder slipping to win a tackle in practise.

At the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the Black Stars were unable to leave the group stage. They started off their campaign by losing to Portugal 3-2, bounced back to overcome South Korea 3-2, and then fell to Uruguay 2-0.

Partey, 29, played in all three games but did not contribute anything noteworthy. Following his early departure, Partey joined Arsenal at their training camp in Dubai in preparation for the start of the Premier League.

The former Atletico Madrid star was seen slipping to win a tackle on Monday during a training session, and Ghanaians were upset as shown in the reactions below.
